Our fabrics are the hero at State of Matter™ Apparel. These fibers are the pioneers that allow us to deliver sustainably made clothing without sacrificing quality. Let's take a look at the lineup.
Recycled garments and textiles
With the waste in the apparel industry RENU decided to make like-new polyester from a process of recycling old garments and textiles that used to be thrown away. We knew there were fabrics out there using recycled materials, but RENU was the only one who aligned with our vision to push beyond the status quo. To learn more go to Renu-project.com. Our RENU fibers are Bluesign and OEKO-TEX certified.
Recycled, sustainable stretch
The makers of LYCRA® fiber realized they had materials from their production process that could be recycled and blended with new materials to create LYCRA® EcoMade elastane. This innovative fiber has 20% recycled content, keeping materials in use while maintaining the great performance of the original product. We mix some of this into our State of Matter collection to give you the movement you want in everything you wear. Brilliant. LYCRA® EcoMade elastane is also GRS certified (Global Recycled Standard (GRS). LYCRA® is a registered trademark of The LYCRA Company.
Regenerated fishing nets, old carpets, and more waste
The magic in using regenerated nylon is that this material would otherwise pollute the Earth. This waste is transformed back into raw material that performs exactly the same as brand new nylon. When you can reuse materials without sacrificing performance, consider yourself a wizard.
Cleaner, natural chemistry
This is an all-natural textile finish sourced from renewable, natural raw materials. It provides moisture wicking faster than most industry-standard chemical based finishes.
